What is Reflexology?

According to Mosby's Medical Dictionary 8th edition page 1594 second column..   Reflexology - a body work technique that uses reflex points on the hands and feet. Pressure is applied at points that correspond to various body parts with the intention of eliminating blockages thought to produce pain or disease. The goal is to bring the body into balance.


Prerequisites:
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must check with the town / city / state / province you wish to practice in to find out what their requirements are.
  • Must have access to a computer and be able to speak and read in English.

Upon successful completion you will be awarded National Certification by The RCB as a CR. (Certified Reflexologist)

PLEASE NOTE:  You MUST check with your State / City / Town to determine what requirements are necessary to practice reflexology in your area.


HOW TO BECOME BOARD CERTIFIED:

You will review the online material, practice and complete required logs, submit review and an essay. 

Upon completion of the above, you will be recognized as certified by The RCB and will receive a wall certificate and wallet card.

WHAT YOU WILL REVIEW:

Upon completing the required practice sessions, you must review all course materials, complete the review, and submit an essay.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

CR Level (Certified Foot Reflexologist):  $500  (all fees are in US Dollars)

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE THE PROGRAM?

The program is self-paced. On average most people complete it within 4-6 months.


I HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED A REFLEXOLOGY PROGRAM.   MAY I BECOME RCB CERTIFIED?

You may send a copy of your certificate/diploma via mail/email for our review, along with a short essay stating the education you have completed, how long you've been practicing reflexology, and the benefits you have experienced with it.  If you have met the RCB requirements a National/International Certification will be awarded.  (The fee for our review and the Certification is  $400 )  If you have not met the requirements we will outline what you need to do.
